I provide individual, couples, and family counseling (ages 13 and older) utilizing tried-and-true techniques from evidence-based therapies that produce real and lasting results.

Couples Therapy

In my work with couples, I am trained and seeking certification in Emotionally-Focused Couples Therapy, the gold standard evidence-based practice developed by Dr. Sue Johnson. This therapy identifies negative cycles of interaction between members of a couple and shifts these negative patterns towards more positive interaction via building safety and trust through deepening emotional connection. This therapy requires a willingness to self-reflect, hold oneself accountable for one’s part in the negative cycle, and share vulnerably. The result of this dedication and hard work is a close and lasting connection with your partner. It is my passion to facilitate this kind of mutual understanding, love, and deep connection between partners in conflict.

Individual Therapy

Process relational trauma in gentle, mindfulness-based, attachment-focused therapy and learn tools to get your through your day.

If you struggle with depression, anxiety, social anxiety, trust in your relationships, low self-esteem, dissociation, or constant emotional dysregulation, you’ve come to the right place. These symptoms often occur when we have experienced trauma in our important relationships. Relational trauma includes physical, emotional, or sexual abuse, but also emotional neglect, abandonment, betrayal, boundary violations, and rejection or humiliation by the ones who are supposed to love and care for us. These experiences create deep wounds in our hearts and minds that need to heal before we can form secure, healthy relationships with ourselves and others. The therapy I offer is warm, empathic, and relational, utilizing mindfulness and parts work, and can provide a gentle and nourishing space to process the pain and fear from your relational trauma at a pace that feels right for you. I also use tools from CBT, DBT, AEDP, EMDR, and Gestalt therapies in order to help you find what works best to meet your goals. I will be with you every step of the way, and you will not be alone.

Family Therapy (ages 13 and older)

Finally bridge the gap and find mutual understanding with family members in Emotionally-Focused Family Therapy.

In my work with families, years of mistrust, misunderstanding, and miscommunication can turn into trust, safety, and heartfelt communication.
